DAI provided architectural and engineering services for a new two-story, 13,000 square foot mixed use private building in Milford, MA. The building  contains a bank with a drive through window and retail space on the First Floor. Private dental offices are located on the Second Floor.

Wall projections and varying heights of the roof parapets are designed to provide visual interest of the 110 feet long front façade. A projecting stair case and sloped roof defines the entry of the building. Cement fiber panels are used at the projections to increase the visual separation from the remaining of the building. The majority of the exterior is consisted of EIFS with joints and reveals to replicate the panelization created by the cement fiber panels. The engineered stone base surrounding all sides of the façade provides visual interests and improves protection of the EIFS at grade level.

DAI and the local Construction Manager used a Design/Build delivery approach. DAI’s team achieved an aggressive design schedule by meeting with the Owner on a frequent basis, proposing multiple massing and materials options.
