Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Ambulatory Surgery Center
Connecticut Children’s Medical Center partnered with DiGiorgio Associates Inc. to provide Architectural, Engineering and Interior Design Services for an off-site Ambulatory Surgery Center. The team was tasked to design a space that was pediatric friendly, and patient-centered for age’s birth through twenty-three. Throughout the design process, the DAI team worked closely with CCMC management, caregivers, family members and surgeons. Lakes Region General Hospital
DAI’s first project with LRGHealthcare which began our long-standing relationship with the hospital was to prepare a Master Facility Plan over 25 years ago. We provided the design for the new construction of the hospital’s OR, Laboratory, Ambulatory Surgery, Lobby, Medical Records and Support Services. Winchester Hospital – Ambulatory Surgery Center
In May 2012, Winchester Hospital celebrated the Grand Opening of its new Ambulatory Surgery Center, as well as continuing its celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the hospital and its 2nd Century Campaign. DAI served as the Architect and Engineer for this new 31,200 square foot Ambulatory Surgery Center. HealthAlliance Hospital – Cancer Care Center
DAI recently completed the design for an additional Linear Accelerator and expanding patient services at the Cancer Center on this campus for an expansion/renovation project of approximately 26,000 square feet. Construction started in Spring 2011 and was completed in January 2012. The genesis of this project was the need to add a second Accelerator vault and associated support space to the Burbank Campus because of the growth in patient visits. Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard
The proposed Emergency Department Expansion Project for Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard is located on the First Floor of the existing facility. The project includes the relocation of the emergency department into a new addition and renovated spaces. The emergency department will be accessed from two entry locations: an ambulance entry and a walk-in entry. Huggins Hospital
DAI worked with Huggins Hospital to develop their new 101,000 square foot replacement hospital. The new main building podium level has the Main Entry, Lobby, Registration, Dietary, Lab, Emergency Department, Surgical Suites, and Diagnostic Imaging. A second level bedroom program accommodates the Med/Surg, ICU, and Administration areas. An outdoor healing garden, two indoor skylight gardens and a cafe with an outside dining patio are additional features. Danbury Hospital
DAI was selected to work with Danbury Hospital on three projects occurring concurrently, including both Architectural and Engineering components utilizing our in-house Engineering services. DAI recently completed the renovation of an Operating Room for the hospital.
